Hey, I am a new C128 owner, and the model I purchased did not come with a power supply. I've been looking on ebay for one, and I've come across several that look like the 128's with a model number of 310416-01. Is this the right one?

Anyone know any other places to buy one?

Thanks very much!

Where are you located geographically?
Call me Golan; my parents did.

I've got a box full of them, tested and ready to go.  $12.80 plus shipping.

cool. How much is shipping to Tulsa (zip: 74137)?

Also, I'd still like to know if the model number mentioned is the correct one.

Thanks!

I'm in Connecticut this week, so I'll have to get the model number and weight for you on Saturday.

that's fine.

Still, any C128 owners that can take a look at their power supply to check the number for me?

My power supply is labeled 310416-01, it's for a flat C128, and operates from 120V.

BTW, you can use a C128 power supply on a C64 if you replace the computer-side plug (I've done this).  If you can find a 'high-power' C64 supply it should run a C128 (I have NOT done this), again you would need to replace the computer-side plug.  To give an idea of 'high-power', the 310416-01 is rated at 70W which is presumably more than a C64 'standard' supply.

Well, I went to the flea market today and picked up a 1541 disk drive and two power cables in the hopes that they'd work with my 128... sadly, I didn't look at them too closely; I ended up with a C64 power supply and a 1541 II/1571 II/1581 power supply.

Anyone want these in a trade for a C128 supply? (Or does anyone want them at all? I really have no use for them, and I'd like to try and get some of the money I paid for them back.)

i could do with a both a flat 128 psu and a psu for a 1541 II disk drive
