Have you tired the WinUAE emulator? The package consists of amikit (free) and Aimga Forever (fee based). The O/S runs on a PC. Nice!

Yes, indeed. Amikit is great.

Back in the Amiga days my main computer was an Amiga 500Plus with a VXL-30 accelerator and ICD Trifecta LX 500 HDD... man that cost me a small fortune at the time.

I moved from my 128D to an A1000 + SideCar. The RLL 67mb drive was $800 back then, $2,500 for the A1000 & around $1,000 for the SideCar.

Still got 'em all too :)

A1000 later got a Phoenix board upgrade.

That was the sweetest 1000 upgrade ever.

I started using WinUAE a long time ago but I don't use it that often. I miss my Amiga 500+ but I don't have room to set it up and I'd rather keep the 128 set up instead. However WinUAE lets me have at those folks at Shufflepuck Cafe without having to worry about the mouse getting broken. That's the main reason why I put away the Amiga, the mouse buttons quite working. Too much beer spilled on it I suppose.

I've got a copy of Amiga Forever installed on my main PC. Very nice, though I don't use it much. I really have more nostalgia for the C128 than any other computer.

I've got a bunch of spare Amiga mice if you want one. :)
