And I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all, a good night!"

I got a lump of coal. Considering Commodore's history, I'm pretty sure that's Commodore related somehow. :)

Merry Christmas to all the faithful C128 users!! I'm really a C64/SX64 fan, but I will have a C128 soon (talk about 20yrs too late :)!!! Anyhow, I'll try and help when I can, and I'll be calling on the forum members for help as well. I will have a BBS running on my C128 at commodorereloaded.serverbbs.com. It will be an Ivory BBS program right now, but I may change it in the future.

I got a new laptop, which will get VICE installed on it... does that count as something C= related under the tree for Xmas? :D

Stephane Richard

I hope so.  Cause VICE is all I got too right now. ;-).

My Christmas Wish For You: May you both know the joys and tribulations of owning REAL hardware someday.

I have a c-64 monitor and 1541 HD from way back when.   along with about 300 programs, games, tools, etc. and about 10 cartridges, S'MORE Basic, Simon BASC C-64 forth, Epic FastLoad,  and a few other things.  I'm not commodoreless ;-).

But I never had the priviledge of having a 128....long sotry short, when the 128 came out I couldn't a afford it, when I could afford it, the amiga500 came out and well, you can imagine what happened ;-).  when I could afford it again I couldn't find a damn thing anywhere, there was no QBAY or anything like that either.  So well, I lived deprived of the 128.  WinvVICE filled the gap pretty good. but yeah, having my own, maybe with a SuperCPU and 1750 RAM expansion would be bliss. ;-).

Yeah, I have 2 128's (one is flaky and has a bad PS), 3 1541's, 2 1571's, 2 1541-II's, a 1581, a tape drive, a 1750 REU, 1530 mouse (bleah), 1702 and 1084S monitors, and a printer too.  Most of it is even set up and used from time to time, mostly for old games which I love! :D  Also have a couple of carts I use regularly, like Epyx Fastload and Turbo Load & Save

I had a 64 as well, but sold it near the beginning of the month to a good home for use in SID creation. :)

It's so awesome to have some C64 gaming, while out on the road though.  Long live emulators on laptops! :tummenupp:
