Hi all

A while back I came across a company that still made 3.5" and 5.25" DSDD disks.

Does anyone have the URL for them?

thanks

I think that Athana is the manufacturer and floppydisk.com is an unaffiliated web-based retailer who sells Athana's products.

Where(ish) are you located, StyleCHM?
Call me Golan; my parents did.

StyleCHM

Western Australia Golan.

Athana was who I was thinking about :) thanks guys

The shipping is probably going to be expensive. I can't help but think that there has to be somewhere closer to you to get diskettes. :|

yeh, but Id think that stuff that is closer would be NOS stuff, not freshly manufactured.

Maybe Ill take the risk and buy some local stuff.

I've had good luck with NOS 5.25" disks as long as they're still sealed in their original plastic. Oxidation is the enemy. I don't think heat and cold really bother them much, unless it's enough to actually warp the disks. I've never seen any that have gotten that hot, but I suppose it COULD happen. I've sure seen vinyl LP records that have warped VERY badly from sitting in the sun!
