Not really C128 related, but I might suss out a way to hook it up :-)

I have just got myself a little FPGA development board, only a bare bones one with a Cyclone-I on it but it does have VGA, RS232 and audio capabilities .. now to slowly learn VHDL.

I already now what project I want to attempt, just not sure I have the smarts yet! :-)

Here's something that would be awesome :D

A co-processor that would detect if youve switched off the VIC (I guess it would have to decode all address lines) and then use PHI1 for memory accesses. Make the copro fast and have some of its own memory, just get it to wait for PHI1 on read and write cycles to main memory.

Ive always wanted to do a fast 3D vector game utilising a copro cart to do the rendering...
