I have this book on order, coming soon.  Would like to get it scanned or something.  It's pretty big, but would be worth the info I think.  I'll keep the group informed as I learn more.

I've found this online reference just as useful, if not more so:

Just received the book.  Its lengthy, and I need to get a new USB cable for my scanner before I can scan the thing in.  And it will be time consuming, but I havent seen this on the net anywhere so I figure it might be worth it.  Anyway, just following up.  Wish i could find a pen-scanner or some other quick(er) method to do this... :/

This looks like an awesome book from what you're saying.  I can't wait to sink my eyes into it. ;-)

I have to agree with Michael Hart on this one.  The book isnt very good to be honest.  It starts out ok, but somewhere it seems to lose its way.  Perhaps just the few early chapters which ought to be relevent to 1.2, 1.3, 1.5 and 2.0, and talks about how the system works.  (The book really only covers the early versions), and zimmer's document is up to date for 2.0 as I understand.  Im really surprised too - considering the authors of the book wrote GEOS.  Anyway, as soon as I get some time Ill get them  (first couple of chapters) scanned.
