eBay Eliminated the 'Commodore' Category Today

eBay has had a 'Commodore' sub-category under 'Computers & Networking - Vintage Computing' for a long, long time. As of today, it's gone.

Now if you want to find Commodore stuff, you have to search for it under the Vintage Computing category. This might not seem like a big deal, but for a category that regularly had 30-100 new items every day, it just seems strange that eBay would eliminate it. There are MANY categories with far fewer daily posts. This change also means you have to wade through a bunch of non-Commodore stuff, because not every listing has 'Commodore' in its subject line, since people listed most of the current items when the category heading itself would have made that designation. So if you list stuff in the future, make sure 'Commodore' is in your subject line - correctly spelled - or your item will be lost amidst a sea of miscellaneous old computer-related crap.

eBay sucks. :(

Looks like they've screwed around with a lot of categories. They've modified my 'Board Games' category, too. Now instead of scrolling through one listing - 'Other board games' - I've got to scroll through six or seven, like 'Horror Games', 'Space Games', etc. Nice work, eBay.
