Looking to pick up some 5 1/4" disks for 1541/1571 drives, as well as some for the 1581 drive.  Can someone advise on a reputable source?

I just go to eBay. Make sure you buy SEALED boxes or bags, which come in multiples of 10 or 25. Any that have been exposed to the air for 25 years are probably oxidized and no good. There are a couple of companies that still make them new, but I can't remember who they are, and I've never dealt with them.

Seriously, though, I haven't had any problem with the 'new old stock' disks I've picked up on eBay.

You might ask Andrew, too. He had quite a few for sale once upon a time.

I have several THOUSAND disks that I need to get rid of. These disks
are all used 5.25" DSDD disks, formerly from the library of the now
defunct Civic64/128 User Group in Ventura Country, California. There
may be some "hidden gems" on these disks, but I've come to grips with
the fact that it'd take me a lifetime to go through all these disks,
so I'd like to offer them for FREE to anyone who wants them. I only
ask two things: First, I ask that you cover the cost of shipping.
Second, I ask that you check out the disks to see if there's anything
of value on them before overwriting them.

I went ahead and did some research on shipping options, and the best
deal for shipping seems to be sending the disks in a USPS Priority
Mail Flat Rate Box. I can fit about 200 disks in one of these
boxes. Since I'm not making any money on this, I'm not going to go
through the effort of counting the exact number of disks in every box
I send out. However, in the one box that I did count, I was able to
fit 192 disks in it. Shipping within the U.S. is $10, to Canada is
$25, and everywhere else is $39.

So... If you're interested in a box of around 200 disks for this price,
PM me and I'll give you my PayPal info. :)

I should also mention that if you're looking for NEWLY MANUFACTURED disks, Athana still makes 5.25" and even 8" floppy disks!  You can find the list of different disk types that they sell at http://www.athana.com/html/diskette.html

Disregard the part on their page that says there's a $100 order minimum.  They no longer have a minimum order.
