On Tuesday, October 14, from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m., Jeri Ellsworth is scheduled to speak at the Institute of Embedded Systems, University of Applied Technologies, Vienna, Austria.  Her presentation is part of the Gender Day '08 event, which also includes an exhibition, other talks in German, and a lunch.  Though the target audience is pupils, especially girls from the age of 14, the general public is invited to this free event.

Jeri's topic will be her personal experiences/ambitions with technology (which include the CommodoreOne and the C64 DTV).

More information on the event is at the official homepage:

Is Jeri ever online?
Sure!  When she does her e-mail and when she "tele"-works for her job.  :)

She prefers to be admired from afar. I'm sure if she ever were to pop up in a forum she'd be inundated with messages from slobbering fanboys.

She use to participate at the PETSCII forums and drops into the IRC from time to time but generally does so incognito to avoid grief. She once mentioned that she has a bit of a stalker problem.

Could this be the same dork that brings equipment to commodore shows looking for autographs?

I was not aware that the definition of stalker included that the victim had to be terrified.

I can assure you, no one but a student could be terrified of you.....

Jeez, the state our education system is in.......
