Online backup service - Mozy

OK this is a blatent plug to try and get myself more backup space (cause 50gb is not enough ;-)

That aside it is a very good service and works with Windows and OSX

I used to work for the parent company so actually do trust the service as I know what is behind the scenes.

Okay... so the site says you get 2GB for free, or unlimited for $5/mo. How do you come up with 50GB?

I assume this was a test?

P.S. I hope your confidence in this company is not grounded in the fact that you no longer work for them. :)

hehe .. 50GB cause I used to work for the parent company ... they gave us all a freebie :-)

Nah .. EMC is actually pretty good as companies go, just got offered more pennies at another job .. yet another 3 letter company .. actually a 2 letter company now :-)

I just signed up for it and sent out some referrals... and then one of my intended referrals wrote back to tell me about www.adrive.com. They give you 50GB free right from the beginning!  :D
