To me, a computer is ancient only if it was in use before I was born.  That eliminates just about every computer ever built.   ;D

The only "ancient computer", in my opinion, is the abacus.  And they're still in wide use today in many parts of the world!  :)

Well, despite my advanced age, declining eyesight and thinning scales, the abacus was invented before I was hatched, so I agree it would qualify as ancient.

Curious if anyone is using CC128 with their software and if so, how things are working.

Unfortunately, my health took a nosedive shortly after you got this and the 80-column driver completed. I haven't spent any actual face time with my C128 in well over a year.

I am now on disability (as of Jan 4th of this year) and with new medication and lots of rest I am feeling much better. Unfortunately, I've suffered a series of small strokes. I now walk with a cane and my hands shake a bit.

I'm currently sorting out my office, which has become very cluttered during this time. I did manage to find my C128 under a big pile, and I hope to get it running again soon.

I picked up a new power supply for it and my 1581 on eBay, and found out it really needs a fuse and fan to operate safely, so my first priority is a hardware project. But I really hope to have a chance to experiment with these programs before I croak.

That are really bad news. I hope you will regain your health.

It figures.  First I get sick and then finally well enough to complete the software, at which time you get sick and can't play with the software.  :D

You are not allowed to croak!  That's Kermit's job.
