I just discovered that M.U.L.E. has been ported to Linux.

This begs the question - who amongst us has the ability & know-how to port classic 8 bit games to C128 native & '128-ise' them ?

I wonder if a bounty system could be organised (ala AROS bounties) ?

I don't think the problem is finding someone with the ability & know-how so much as finding someone with the time and inclination. :(

Not me but perhaps John of MicroDesigns.  He did Space Battles 128 and Space Pirates 128.

It took a bit of digging.  That would be John (a different one) of the C128 game, Cloneimals.

I'm not a great fan of the game (maybe I just don't know how to play it, that's probably the case), but have you seen this:

1. Press 40/80 key DOWN.
2. Turn computer OFF, then ON.
3. Remove cartridge if present.

PlanetM.U.L.E. is the best modern version I've seen (and getting better all the time)

Working on making the current release closer to the original, and they also are creating a new version with new features.
