Sigh I do have a Working C128 with 1571 Serial 5 1/4 Floppy but my Printer Ribbon Dryed out Ages ago. I need to Get my files from VisaWrite onto my PC so I can print them out with my USB Printer.
I guess it would be Simpler to Connect my PC to my C128 huh?

Any Idea as to how I could get this to work?
I might be able to get my Hands on a 386 5 1/4 Drive it will have to be a 500K drive because one full Disk on the C128 Double formatt was only 1Kb 1000K Wow huh???

Any help in this regard that dose not cost a fortune would ba appreciated

Regards

So basically, what you're saying is that you have files on 1541/1571 discs that you want transferred into D64's that can be read by a PC?

There are many ways of acheiving that :)

Here's a good page on the concept in general:

There are also solutions like the uIEC, etc.

Someone in your area might be able to do it for you... you might check with TPUG (Canadian Commodore group).

Or, I can do it for $2.50USD a disk side. Just PM me.

You could buy a CatWeasel on eBay for $127. Then you could read every disk format known to humankind. :)

A double-sided Commodore-formatted 5ΒΌ" floppy disk on a 1571 is 340K.  A single-sided format is 170K.
