I've got an 8050 Disk Drive I want to connect to my 8096-SK, but i need a Suitable cable, I've seen a couple of these GPIB cables advertised

Yes, that should work since the 8096-SK (and 8032-SK) uses the standard IEEE connector on the back (all other pets use a non-standard - for IEEE - edge connector). You can also order these cables from TPUG (www.tpug.ca).
