Although the price is nuts for *any* old monitor, in the seller's defense, I've never heard of a 1201 monitor, and it's not listed on Bo Zimmerman's website, so it would seem to actually be a rare monitor.  The monitor that Commodore marketed for the C16 and Plus/4 in North America was the CM-141, which doesn't look like this 1201.  On the other hand, perhaps this is like the 1570 disk drive, which is rare in North America, but fairly common on Europe and Australia?

AU$149.95 for a C128 System Guide, however, is just plain ludicrous.

I agree with Andrew.  I've never seen this monitor before; I never knew of its existence.

When Commodore AU were running out the Plus4 they packaged them with the computer, floppy drive, printer & a tape drive for some ridiculous throw away price.

When they come up on eBay here they either sell for under $10 or (as is more usual) don't sell at all.

That's interesting...  Were they not very good quality monitors?  I know the CM-141's I've seen, while they "looked good", all had some kind of tube defect.

They're ok - connection is via an RCA plug & they're mono so nothing exciting.
