Is a 1540 floppy worth $750?

Thanks for the link.  The fact that there's only one photo, and it's being sold as "untested, sold as is", probably cost the seller quite a bit of money.  With the 1540 that I sold, I had many photos, including internal shots that showed the original 1540 ROM chip, and screen shots from a VIC-20 that showed that it was in working condition.  I don't think the condition of the box mattered that much...  The fact that there was an original box as all is rather impressive.  The one I sold had the original box, and the original test/demo disk (which I have available for download on my website).  Anyway, as always with eBay, you win some, and you lose some.  It's the only form of gambling that I participate in.
