Perhaps the new site will simply allow you to give away money without the pretense of getting a product in exchange?

My license agreement has expired with Mark Fellows and until I sign a new agreement, I cannot produce any new CMD products. I can finish up the orders I have, which is what I intend to do. I also intend to finish up any repair jobs I have here and return them to their owners.

Following that, I will then reconsider if I wish to set up a new agreement to produce the CMD products. I can perform repairs on CMD products without being licensed, so I will at least do that. I have all the equipment and parts to repair CMD products for a very long time.

QuoteClick Here Software - Online Store

posted November 26, 2009

Our online store is currently closed. We might reopen it in the future.

Products for all current orders that have been paid for will be built and shipped as soon as we are able to. Thank you to all for your patience.

Check back sometime in January, 2010, as we will be starting a new weekly online auction. We have too much stuff in our warehouse and need the room. There will be different products each week, mostly Commodore and CMD related items, new and used.

The link doesn't seem to be working at this point.

Hmm, a weekly online auction... but it doesn't say anything about eBay.  Perhaps he will be auctioning through a different service (or through his own means).

You know, I don't really know Maurice the way most people here do, but what this sounds like to me is that he might be planning on getting out of the Commodore business altogether, and he wants to clear out whatever he has in stock. I wonder...

I hope that the technical knowledge of the CMD products won't get lost. I guess that a lot of the items are hard or maybe impossible to produce nowerdays because some electronical parts are out of production and current parts may need some redesigns.  Maybe some talented developers can create 100% clones of SCPU, HD and FD based on FPGAs and flash memory with this knowlede. I have products like 1541U or Chameleon in mind which are mainly based on FPGAs. But who knows...

Gideon Zweijtzer of the 1541 Ultimate has a SuperCPU, which he is studying.

Fact.  (I don't really deal in rumors.)

The SuperCPU is on loan from Shaun Bebbington of the Commodore Computer Club UK.

Here we are in the last half of January 2010.  Has anyone heard anything more about these CMD auctions?  The cmdrkey store website that Orinoco linked to is empty now.  Does anyone know what Maurice's eBay user ID is?

It would be too cheap to knock Maurice, but like most of us he might be busy with other stuff so he didn't get to set up any auctions yet. Given his track record with regular e-business, it would not surprise me if eventual auctions also will be delayed, depending on how much space in the warehouse is absolutely required to clear.

I checked ebay for the id Robert mentioned. Result was negative. Even no success with clickheresoftware. But there is an mauricerandall on ebay, who is inactive since 2007, but some comments sounds like he sold some commodre stuff in the past. Maybe...

It looks like that's the one.  I think I remember reading somewhere in the past that his PayPal account was closed.  I guess he could have opened a new PayPal account since then though...
