MIRKOSOFT

Hi!

As you know, Commodore 128 has national ROMs:
INTERNATIONAL
FINNISH
FRENCH
GERMAN
ITALIAN
NORWEGIAN
SWEDISH

but I found info about:

BELGIAN-FRENCH
SPANNISH
SWISS-GERMAN

so I'm searching for ROMS for last three. Belgian-French and Swiss-German has maybe only Character ROMs, 'cause I've seen only keyboards...
I think SPANNISH has full national ROMs...

Thank you all for every help.

What do you mean by national ROMs, that error messages etc should be translated to respective language? As far as I know, none of those localizations you list has that sort of translated ROMs. Usually the change consists of three things:

- different keycaps or stickers
- different Character ROM to print the right characters
- different Kernal ROM to scan the keyboard correctly

The last one is because some characters shift to different places on the keyboard when you adopt it to a national standard. Some countries have more or less national symbols, some may need to add shifting modes (perhaps Ctrl-Shift) to get every possible symbol. Still, beyond the keyboard remapping I can't recall any localized Commodore computer, counting both C128 and others, that had Basic errors or even less keywords translated. There were some 3rd party packages that attempted such translations though, but usually it was found it only complicates usage if you try to type in a foreign listing or debug your own program towards manuals in a foreign language.
