Aww, I know this is going to go way beyond my price range, but...so cool...

Nice... I just bid, but unsurprisingly was outbid. If money wasn't so tight, I'd pony up more.

Good luck!

Would be really nice, but at $600, I think not.

I seem to remember one selling for $1,500 on auction recently. $600 is a bargain in comparison  :P

I don't doubt it, but I'm the type who would rather build my own than spend that kind of money.  I'm sure that approach would save several hundred dollars and, more importantly, it would be a great learning experience.  Of course doing it yourself would take time, so I guess a large factor is how valuable one's time is...

TIME - Whoever learns to sell time (really, not a clock on eBay or something) will be a quadrillionare.  Umm, now I'm going off-topic so I'll shut up.

I don't know why scientists spend so much time searching for a formula that explains everything. We already know what that is:

TIME = MONEY

This. I'm sorry, the SCPU is an amazing little device and all, but there's no way it's worth $1500.

I wouldn't spend that much, simply because I can't afford it. I got my SuperCPU 128 back in 2007 for $550 and that hurt enough, though in retrospect it was a bargain ;D Someone hit the Buy-it-Now for $1,100 it seems. Pure auction may have gone to that $1,500 range...

Of course this always creeps into my mind about the SuperCPU 128 in my 128T. If I pulled out the SuperCPU 128, put it back in the case and sold it for these prices, I could pay off my credit card! But no... I'd rather not as long as I can keep affording the mortgage and groceries 8)
