Yesterday we arrived into Las Vegas and made contact with the Commodore Vegas Expo venue, the Plaza Hotel, and with the Clark County Commodore Computer Club (of Las Vegas).  The show set-up time is confirmed; we start assembling the computers in the third floor Jockey Room 1 at 4 p.m. on Friday.  You're invited to help us out!  :)

This year CommVEx has an unprecedented number of new releases and presentations -- the exclusive, boxed edition of the C64 game, Berzerk v1.10; the preview of the new C64 game, Phoenix Warriors, from Night Lore Games; the official presentation of the Comet64 Internet Modem for use with CommodoreServer.com and the new software, V-1541; and more.

To celebrate the Amiga computer's 25th anniversary, Amiga engineers R.J. Mical and Dale Luck, and Cloanto's Michael Battilana are joining the show.

For the latest information, go to http://www.portcommodore.com/commvex or http://www.commodore.ca/forum and click on ComVEX.

CommVEx runs from 11 a.m. to 5+ p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.  The hotel phone number is 702 386-2110 or toll-free at 800 634-6575.  You can contact me in room 1640 of the hotel.  My cellphone/mobile phone number is available upon request.

See you at CommVEx!

No need to cry.  The only C128s were the two flat ones from the 5C's and from FCUG.  What you see in the picture was an Amiga 1000 (which had 3 megs of RAM and ran beautifully under Kickstart 1.3/OS 1.3).  :)
