So, here I am at the Amiwest Show 2010 in Sacramento, California.  This is my 10th year to this Amiga event, and as usual, I am looking for C64 items among the Amiga computer goodies.
Score!  At the table of a former CBM sales rep, I found a C64 Service Manual.  Just $1 and in good shape.
I also briefly spoke to AmigaKit.com's Matthew Leaman about a C= project that I have, and he's most enthusiastic to hear more (I spoke to him back in 2008 while I was in Cardiff, Wales about the same project).  Though his company deals with new Amiga goods, he does have C64 materials.

At the Amiwest Show, I went over-budget (as usual) and bought Amiga and Commodore goodies (goodie list to come later).  I had a productive talk with Matthew Leaman, and he may have a Commodore-related announcement soon.
I also had a good talk with Trevor Dickenson, the force behind the yet-to-come Amiga X1000.  Not only is a he a diehard Amiga fan, but he also cut his teeth on the PET, C64, the flat C128, and the C128DCR.  In fact, at his banquet presentation he showed a slide that showed his C128DCR next to his classic A1000, as he compared the two machines (and he didn't say anything bad against the 8-bit machines).
He still has his CBM 8-bitters in his personal museum of over 160 machines (and very well-organized, too).

Ah, I almost forgot about this thread.  At the Amiwest Show, from Amiga engineer Carl Sassenrath I got a new DCTV attachment for the Amiga CDTV (heh, a shiny new bit of hardware attached to the old CDTV), a German scan-doubler/flicker-fixer for the A2000,  and his autographed book, "Guru's Guide to the Commodore: Meditation #1 - Interrupts"; from Matthew Leaman of AmigaKit.com I got a new AmigaOne keyboard and a 25th anniversary cloisonne Amiga pin, from Josh Shiflet I bought an Amiga CDTV keyboard, and from CBM sales representative (San Diego division) James Nakayaki (sp?) I got a wireless lavalier microphone system (good for a future CommVEx); a videotape entitled, "Amiga. The Computer for the Creative Mind.", a sales package entitled, "Commodore Multimedia" with videotape; and 3 red Commodore binders (two of which will be offered as door prizes at next year's CommVEx in Las Vegas).
Also Amiga engineers Carl Sassenrath and Dale Luck autographed the top of the casing of my Amiga CDTV.
