C1571.COM issue

Guys,

Been fiddling with CP/M a little lately (forgot just how bloody slow the thing is was!).

My setup is a 128DCR with an external, second 1571. The internal drive under CP/M is A:, the external is B:

When you run C1571.COM off drive A: it return the following error - CHANNEL ERROR 02H, this doesn't happen with the external drive.

In all other respects the internal drive is working fine (no errors or problems) in either native Basic or CP/M. Could this be a BIOS issue with the drive ? Possibly the internal drive needs an upgrade ?

Can you post the bios revisions for the two drives?
