Can anybody help with SuperCPU test?

Hi!

I want to enhance my program C128 System Information 7.3 to better detecting of SCPU.

I have one SCPU at home, but with no SuperRAM...So, I want to ask if can anybody to help with testing.

I have SCPU v2 (128). Need to test also v1 (64), size of SuperRAM and MHz frequency.

I created simple BASIC program for both Commodores (128&64) where is easy output to screen.

If anybody can help, please test if at C64/C128mode128/C128mode64 and send output to this topic.

Looks like it almost got it right, turbo is enabled so I am running at 20Mhz.

So, all is correctly except MHz?


Try to disable TURBO and check please again... I'm wondering what will appear (my opinion is maybe "0")

I just tried it again with turbo off and is says "SUPERCPU AT 65 MHZ"

So, it seems that if is SCPU detected the value at mem #255 is changed.


if is Turbo off - value is 65


if is Turbo on - value is 1...

I'm not really worried about getting credit, I'm not doing much. If you do, redrumloa is fine.

Yes, it stopped there. That is the whole screen.



Turbo off:


As you see when in 20Mhz the screen output stopped at CPU speed. In the 1Mhz it got the speed right, but says I have no JiffyDOS (which I do). Otherwise looking good.

As I look at... it seems that it stops at calculating speed of CPU.
If is turbo off, calculating is skipped.


To JiffyDOS:
- if you have any CMD hardware, exactly SCPU or RAMLink, JiffyDOS always shows that is not installed - it causes that Jiffy is taken from SCPU or from RAMLink and KERNAL chips are ignored.


I'll do this night correction and give to this thread corrected version to test.

There you go! It is in 40 column mode this test, detected turbo at 20mhz correctly.

Can you test this one program for JiffyDOS?


Now I did better recognizing of Jiffy, so, it's independent on KERNAL or other CMD-hardware...


If is Jiffy powered on, it can always check as YES...


Please do this test for me, I'm still awaiting my C128DCR which is on the way...
