I have ancestors from Lousiana, does that count?  When I was a wee lad, I spent a few years in the Orange / Beaumont area of Texas, right across the border.  Later when I would visit relatives, me and my cousins would make quick trips across to LA to get alcohol... this was back when 21 was legal and Texas but 18 was legal in Louisiana...

In January 2001, after seeing Pink Floyd the previous December, I got harassed by LA State Troopers.  They set up a speed trap on the other side of a hill, when I came over the hill, I had to slow down along with everybody else on the highway... it was a bottle neck... I got pulled over and searched for "following to close".  I wasn't following any closer than the other drivers, but I did have out-of-state license plates... always a good reason to harass a citizen.

After the search, the troopers did semi-apologize and said they had been having problems with gun runners and drug smugglers... but they still gave me a ticket... which I may or may not have paid...

I got arrested one time in New Orleans for disorderly conduct (guess what time of the year it was).     Does that count?
