This auction has already been over for a while, but I just came across it. I've never seen so many Commodore machines sold in one lot before, and even more unbelievable is the low price that won it all... nearly 100 computers, plus quite a few disk drives and other hardware, for 645 Euros!

Huge Commodore Collection

Worth taking a look just to marvel at it all.

Yeah, that's a definitaly impressive collection.

*ponders adding a donate button under his name for help on acquiring that collection* ;-). hehe

Too bad it's over, or I'd donate to the cause myself. There was apparently quite a scramble of people over at the CSDb forums trying to get organized enough to buy it together, though it was complicated due to the seller (understandly) only wanting to sell to someone local rather than arranging shipping. There were a few people willing to travel to pick the stuff up, but then there was the problem of where to put it all. In the end I think it went to someone that none of the CSDb people knew. Unless the buyer was a serious packrat... err, collector, I imagine they could make quite a profit by reselling the items individually rather than as one big lot.
