Please don't view this as any sort of a blatant commercial post,  as I don't run a business...

I used to,  though.  And among other things we were a c= repair center.  And I ended up with a fair amount of parts left over,  after we closed that up,  back in '92.

I have *LOTS* of chips.  New ones,  salvage as well.  Mostly for the c64,  but also some of the ones specific to the 128.

If there's anything you're interested in,  please feel free to email me,  and we'll talk about it.

(Most assuredly NOT a windoze user,  I'm running nothing but linux here.  :-)

Good to know, thanks.  If most are like me, I despise sending Commodore equipment off to the junk heap. I like to stop around yard sales to see if anyone has an old 64 or 128 or other equipment, sometimes you can find something useful.

Not that I get out to yard sales all that much lately,  but I haven't seen anything of the sort at them for quite a while,  at least around here.  I did let some folks know at some flea markets that I was looking for them,  too.

When we closed up the shop I had a whole mess of c64s,  there may be a 128 or two in the pile as well,  but in my storage unit where I won't have access to them until I pay them some more money. And those 64s were all of the basket cases,  the ones that weren't economic to repair,  so they got scrapped out for parts.  I just recently sold a fella a few of the joystick connectors for a project he was working on.

I also a while back sold a bunch of SID chips to some people in Europe.  So if there are any scrap boards out there which contain these I'd be interested.  I don't need keyboards,  cases,  or those silly "brick" power supplies.  (Got a couple of 128 power supplies in storage too,  now that I think of it).

At hand here in terms of new chips are at the very least PLA, MMU, ROMs, and some of the 1571 parts as well (though unfortunately _not_ the R/W Hybrid that I had to replace a number of times).

And a heck of a lot of the CPU and 6526 and similar chips,  some new and some pulls.

I didn't know there was one here.  Is there some easy way for admin-type people to forward a copy of that over there?

You're looking for 4164 chips?  How many do you need?  I have a fair pile of them here...

Email me and we'll kick it around,  I don't get in here often at all.

If the post office will send there,  I don't have a problem with it.

As I mentioned in the previous post,  I don't get in here often -- feel free to email me and we'll kick it around from there.

In fact,  if I hadn't been cleaning out my browser's history I wouldn't have remembered to get in here today at all...    Too many things going on,  and never enough time to get to them all!
