What do you use your 128 for these days?  Could have been a poll, but lets leave the discussion a little more open ended....

Me, Im currently poking around BBSs via desterm and a userport->PC interface.  Qlink got me started, and now Im just calling around.  Im thinking, time pending, that I might play with learning GEOS programming.  It would be cool to be able to blog here (gawd i hate that word...) about learning to program GEOS... might help others.

Anyways, what are you doing these days with your 128?

I gotta admit, I spend too much time in 64 mode playing M.U.L.E. & Lords of Midnight - but I really wanna start playing around with game coding in the fast mode of the machine. Gotta say, finding this community has re-ignited my interest in the computer though! Maybe Lance should call the forum C128 Revival!

Mostly for going on-line with Desterm 2.01, a 56K modem, and a Turbo232.  Secondly, for writing C= articles for our newsletter and to be published on-line.

As Prototype for a Datalogger.
It does 24 Bit sampling at 3 kHz directly to HDD with live preview in High-Res VDC graphics mode. Looks like some Osci screen.
It uses a card at the userport utilizing both CIAs for SPI (CIA1 sends and the CIA2 receives at the same moment). And some Expansion port card for IEEE488, RS232 and IDE (and soon Ethernet). It's the same card as shown in my other post:
