Hi, has anyone had any experience with Wheels 128?

I tried ordering it from CMD but their online store would fail to bring up the final checkout page... :(

Yes?  What do you need to know?

Ordering from Maurice at CMDRKey is a dicey proposition, at best.

Hi Robert,

I recently purchased a SuperCPU 128 and was interested in Wheels 128. What's the documentation like that ships with Wheels 128? Can you recommend any must have applications or web sites for Wheels 128?

Thanks
Fotios

Documentation consists of the "Driver's Manual", which is a general book on how to get started with Wheels and how to use it successfully.  It does not go into any detail of how Wheels was programmed.

Most GEOS applications work well with Wheels.  If you are into publishing, then the must-haves are GEOWrite 128 and GEOPublish.  GEOWrite 128 works even better with Wheels when it is patched with Todd Elliott's GW 128 2.2 patch.  For various utilities, there are a couple of websites with GEOS emphasis, one being Bruce Thomas' CUE site (I'll have to dig around to find the exact address).

I'll find out more info on those GEOS sites,

anyone know where you can get a copy of wheels nowadays??

They show up on eBay occasionally. The last one I saw was in February and sold for about $27.

he funny you should bring that up as that was my auction:förbryllad:
regret getting rid of it now as my backup copy stopped working...oh well thats what you get when you only make one backup copy on a 10+ year old dd disk:rodna:

Boy, that's some rotten luck!

Well, maybe the person you sold it to will end up making a backup copy, then listing the original as you did, and you can buy it back. :D
