Here's an interesting item on eBay, genuine Quantum Link Game disk with a starting bid of only $4

I feel really sorry for anyone who buys that thinking they can play it!  It even says on the label that the games can only be played when connected ... to Q-Link which has been offline for over a decade!

Or maybe some modern BBS's like wiskow's allow Q-Link games to be played?

I suspect the item will not sell and if it does the seller will receive another negative feedback, LOL.

On the other hand, if you can sell those, I probably have half-a-dozen of them :P

And back online for a little more than 2.5 years now. No, really. See here.

Though with no support for addons like these, right?

Nope... Although I'd love to be able to play some of those games again...  I've also got the Club Caribe and Rabbitjack's Casino disks...  Totally useless now...  But I still keep them...  Just hoping, that one day, I'll be able to use them again.  I never thought that Q-Link would come back, but now it is...  But without any games implimented.  It's just a shell of what it once was.

Just so everyone knows, Quantum Link Reloaded is actively being developed. I haven't put in as much time as I had intended to (I spent the first while trying to figure out what Jim had done) but I have been working on it. I'm going to have a lot more time to spend on it come August and see what I can come up with. High on my list is creating a workable interface to comp.sys.cbm and then Internet email. Games are more difficult as they require some reverse engineering. They're on the 'to do' list though. The end goal, if it isn't obvious, is to make Q-Link Reloaded into more than a novelty in the hope that more people will use it regularly.

That's great news, Golan!  Please keep us posted on the progress you make!  :-)
