Thanks for the advice.  I have downloaded the fakerom.zip from the webpage.  I am really new to this. Does this get unzipped and placed on the SD card? How does it get mounted on the uIEC?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Herdware / uIEC and Wheels 128
February 10, 2011, 04:10 AM
I recently purchased a uIEC from Jim Brain.  I have it up and running.  I was hoping to use it with Wheels 128, but it does not see the drive.  It works as device #10.  My system has a 1571,1581 and a 512K REU.  Does anyone know how to use it with a 128 with Wheels 128? Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

General chat / Re: Winter..Got to hate it

Winter is winter and it is cold.  Just get used to it.  Here in Erie(Pa) it is cold and windy.  On top of it all my snow blower gave up the ghost yesterday and it needs to be replaced. I am not complaining because the cheeseHeads will beat the bears.  Long live the Packers and the C128.

There is joy in Erieville.  The problem was in the ROM in U32.  I forgot to say that I had
Jiffydos installed.  I swaped it out for the old ROM and it works like a charm.  Thanks for all the help.  Much appreciated.

When I try to go to 64 mode by typing Go64 and I answer "Y" the screen freezes and the keyboard does not respond.  When I hold the Commodore key down at power up
I get a blank screen and again the keyboard does not respond.  This all done in 40 column screen

I have a flat 128 that I got on ebay several years ago. I use Wheels 128 mostly as a replacement for GEOS.  Recently I can't get it to go into 64 mode.  I have a few games that I use that mode for.  Does anyone know what the problem could be.  Thanks for your help.
