Well, I was told that Andrew Wiskow is bringing in his C128DCR to CommVEx.  So, at CommVEx that makes 3 C128DCRs for the attendees to use, 1 C128DCR connecting to a BBS, and 1 DCR for the raffle.

The one I'm bringing is not just for connecting to a[/b] BBS, but any[/b] Commodore BBS that people may want to check out.  I'll be providing copies of the latest edition of the C64/128 BBS List to anyone who wants one, and I'll have the 128DCR running DesTerm 2.01, and connected to my laptop.  My goal is to educate as many people as I can, showing them just how easy it is to connect to a Commodore BBS with real[/b] Commodore equpment for that "authentic feel".  :-)

Heh, one attendee told me that he never seen so many C128DCRs in one place.  Yet, we only had one C64 at the show.

Yeah... And it was a 64c...

I'm already planning to bring along a breadbox C64 setup to CommVEx 2008!  :-)

It just isn't right having a Commodore get-together and not having a breadbox C64 on hand. ;-)

Of course, we did have a PET, VIC-20, Plus/4, SX-64, and a Commodore 286 laptop there, in addition to all the 128DCR's, so there was a very nice collection of Commodore computers present.

Not forgetting the others present -- the Amiga 500, the Amiga 1200, and the PAL C64 DTV, NTSC C64 DTV, and Hummer DTV.  :-)
