I thought snowflakes were supposed to be light fluffy things with no substance to them ?  These ones drifting across my screen make the CPU in my laptop beg for mercy!

50% of a 1.7Ghz Core Duo ?!?!  Just to move 10 sprites around ? :-)

What a pity :( I thought they were nice. But maybe 50% of the CPU time is a little too much :)

Didn't increase CPU-usage of my browser here one bit. I'd say something is a little off with your system.

Nah - Taswegia is my favourite state. <insert favourite deity here> created Tasmania first & couldn't follow up the act with the rest of the world :) Stunningly beautiful island.

No snow here in southern California...  But at least I get to see some here on these forums.  ;)

It's kind of funny that even the Pacific Northwest states have been getting quite a bit of snow that has been sticking around for the past couple weeks.  I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and we NEVER had snow there that lasted for more than a couple days, so this is pretty remarkable.

If I do end up moving to Wisconsin after I retire from the military, I'll be seeing LOTS of snow EVERY year.  :)
