Amigathering IX was held on the Greek isle of Rodos (Rhodes).  Not only was it an Amiga event, but it also had a Commodore flavor (the Commodore 8-bitters were very popular with the gamers).  My thanks to the Amigahellas.gr for taking care of me.  As my hosts would tease me, "It's all Greek to me!"  :)
My thanks to Dick Estel for hosting the pictures.

Nice pictures Robert :)

With temperatures below the freezing point in Sweden right now, I would really have enyojed to have been there.

I'm curious though, the picture of a C128 with "The slightly different C128 keyboard", was that Greek? Or was it from another country (Germany perhaps)?

Nice pictures Robert :)
Thanks!  Now if I can find my video of the event...

I estimate it was about 32 degrees C. on Sunday at the beach.  (Tip: if you are not used to it, never walk the hot sand of the beach without some form of foot protection.  It was painful!)  :)

Ah, you got me there.  I assumed it was Greek, but I never turned it over to look at the manufacturing label.

Well, I think it's German. Look at the keys @ : ;. There you can see in light grey the letters Ü Ö and Ä, which are typically German letters.

But the strangest thing is that Germany tend to exchange the keys for Z and Y as you can see on those keys as well.

In these international versions of the Kernal, the "Caps lock" key has been reprogrammed to have the function of switching between the character sets. You can see that the "Caps lock" key itself has been renamed to "ASCII/DIN". So when it's pressed the grey letters of the keys on the keyboard are those shown on the screen.

Thanks for deducing where it came from!  :)

Robert, you really need to let me know when you'll be attending Commodore gatherings in Europe in the future. So that I can find the time to join you :)

O.K., but you'll have to keep up with my sometimes hectic C= show schedule.  :)
