MD Technical Services team would like to advice of an emergency upcoming after hours maintenance for your CPANEL web hosting service.


Date: 12/02/2010

Time: 4:00 AM to 8:00AM AEST (GMT +1000)
Duration: Up to 4 hours. Please note services will only be interrupted for up to 3 hours between these periods.

Services affected: All services on your CPANEL web hosting service.



Impact: During the outage period, customers will not be able to:



    * Manage their domain names
    * Web Hosting services such as website and email will be unavailable.

Please note, emails will not be lost and your website data will not be changed or affected by this maintenance.

Emails will be delivered to your inbox once the maintenance is complete and your website will be back online within the period specified above.

Benefits: Your web hosting service will be migrated to even more powerful data centre in our web hosting network, giving you better reliability, speed and scalability. Your web hosting service will now be hosted on Global Switch data centre in Sydney, where we:

    * use quality hardware and software including fibre channel RAID storage devices
    * ensure that there is no single point of failure with fully redundant, load-balanced web clusters
    * continuously monitoring all systems and servers
