Open1541 Commodore replacement disk drive

I happened to see this on one of the forums I'm a member on:

Awesome!!  That's seems a lot like the 15x1 server I started but haven't completed (true CPU, VIA, and rotation emulation)... and it is a LOT smaller.  Now if it could only implement something more usefull... like a 1581, or better, a CMD-HD...  Anyway, promising technology... Thanks for the link, I'll keep an eye out.
