DMC

Hello,

allow me to introduce myself ... my name is "dmc" :)

I am 38 years old and live in germany. I am one of the forum64 admins and I registered here because I love my herdware. The C128 was the first (nah second) computer I got from my parents. The first was the C16 which was sold by a local disounter over here. Since then I collected many of the 8 bit machines. In my spare time I repair those old classics and try to keep them alive (which can be a really tough task nowadays).

Actually I am repairing the power supply of one of my dcr's which produces a really bad picture with nice humming bars on the screen.

Sorry for my bad english. I try to get better  8) ::)

Welcome to the forum where the C-128 reigns supreme.

Your English is better than that of some of the people in our area, where English is supposedly the primary language.   ;D

And here I thought DMC meant department of major corruption.  We have several of those in our local government.

If you haven't fixed that PSU already, it would be nice if you could post a photo of the screen with the bars.  I have an idea would it would look like, but it could be informative for people with a defective C128... and they say "a picture is worth a thousand words."

Anyway, like the others said: your English is actually very good and welcome to the forums!
I'm kupo for kupo nuts!
