Hello Commodore friends ... Just wanted to let you three know that
Chuck Peddle confirmed his VCF East 4.0 attendance today.  The event will be
Saturday, June 9, at our computer museum [http://www.infoage.org] here
in New Jersey.  We may add Sunday, June 10 as well, but the Commodore
panel (30th anniversary of the Pet) will be Saturday starting at 10:30AM.
Our location is about one hour south of Newark Liberty airport and about 90
minutes northeast of Philadelphia airport.  We'll announce a show hotel
when the date gets closer.

PS - let me know if any of you are interested in exhibiting / speaking
at our show.

Update -- VCF East 4.0 will be TWO days instead one this year

We decided to make the event June 9-10, instead of only June 9. Also, in
addition to Chuck Peddle, the special 30th bday panel [Saturday] for
Commodore's computer division will include Bil Herd, Bob Russell, and
Dave Haynie.

Event sponsored by MARCH (www.midatlanticretro.org) at the InfoAge
Science Center (www.infoage.org) in Wall, N.J.

Just received a message from Bil Herd.  He wrote that he wants to see what he "can drag along in the way of hardware...".

                               Maybe like rare CBM hardware?!!!

Robert,

Can you please confirm whether or not Chuck Peddle will be in attendance in New Jersey or if he will only be appearing via video conference?  If it's only by video conference, when did this change take place?  I've spent a lot of effort organizing my trip to NJ this weekend and was dying to get my copy of Over the Edge signed by Peddle, Haynie and Herd.  Two out of three ain't bad, but I was looking forward to shaking Chuck's hand and thanking him for everything he's done.

According to Evan Koblentz of the VCF East, Chuck will now just video-conference into the show.

Evan K. says that Chuck had work committments in Sri Lanka.  Any further questions should go to Evan K.; I'm just an attendee.

No matter how you cut it, attendees are going to have a great time. I'm envious.
Call me Golan; my parents did.

Awesome, welcome aboard Bil, or is it the other way around?  (need to look up proper etiquettes when a new(er) member is actually one of the people responsible for the reason of being of this place ;-).

Nice to have you here Bil :-).
